A Blog is Born - Happy Half-Birthday Elias!

Welcome to the very first post in Elias’ Blog. Elias is our beautiful baby boy, and today he turns 6 months old. He celebrated his morning by sleeping in until 9am, wolfing down some apple and mango purée, and gnawing on a strawberry wafer. Isn’t life great for a baby?

We’ve decided to start this blog so you can follow the journey of The Funky Baby Co. and our own funky baby. Expect posts about our business, our products, but also our journey as parents — the joys, the challenges, and everything in between when dealing with these tiny creatures of uncontrollable, bizarre, unexplainable, and sometimes utterly useless chaos.

Six months in, we’re learning something new every day. Things can still be tough at times, but Elias is at that magical age where he’s mostly predictable and we’re finally getting something back. He’s started laughing recently, and now he can pick up his own dummy and pop it in his mouth to soothe himself.

AND HE ALSO NOW SLEEPS ABOUT 10 HOURS STRAIGHT A NIGHT!

We hope this blog becomes a little community — a place where we share our stories, hear yours, and laugh (because otherwise, we’d cry) at the hard truths of babies. Plus, we’ll chat about our funky clothes that you can proudly put in your own baby’s wardrobe obviously!
